Stormy

One stormy April night last year, a foal was born in a dark stable, much to the surprise of his owners! His mom, a 3/4 black Arab named Cheval, stood quietly with him while Dusty, a stable mate, looked on with interest. After a bit of research it was discovered his dad was from the west, a Heinz 57 type horse who was a light bay stallion.

Stormy, as the foal was called, is dark brown in colour and very well put together as his picture will attest. He has a personality all his own and is a very friendly guy. He is very comical and likes to chew on most anything, including people. His owners have mostly curbed him of that.

This handsome colt lives near Elmvale, Ontario at Dogwood Acres and is owned by Kathy and Peter Newman. Although he was a surprise, his owners wouldn't know what to do without him now. He has stolen their hearts. You can also see Stormy as the "Running Foal" photo on my horses page.
