Dusty

This week's Horse of the Week is Dusty, the old boy in the little herd at Dogwood Acres near Elmvale, Ontario. He is a red dun quarter horse, born in Western Canada. He has very neat "zebra" striping on parts of his legs, as well as a dorsal stripe. Although Dusty is about 14 years old, he still runs around like a youngster. This beautiful 15.1 hh gelding is used for trail riding and is presently learning how to jump. Watch for him at the local Ontario horse shows this year.

He is the King of HIS corral and makes sure everyone knows it (but he is a real SUCK under all that male bravado). Dusty is owned by Kathy and Peter Newman.
