Greensleeves

Greensleeves, affectionately known as "Greenie", has been with Susan and her husband for the past 3 years and is a real asset to their barn in Simoe County. They purchased him as a companion horse for Dallas and quickly fell in love with him. These two horses are the best of friends and are always close by each other's side.

Greenie is a very kind and gentle horse. He is a 23 year old Morgan/Thoroughbred cross and apparently has had dressage training. He is a 15.2 hh chestnut with lots of chrome, a white blaze and three white socks. The Morgan breeding is readily apparent when you see him in action. This horse truly has personality plus and just laps up all the attention he can get. He appears to have a special place in his heart for children and is well loved in the neighbourhood.

If a horse can smile, he certainly does when he is tacked up for some light exercise. Greenie loves to be groomed and really enjoys a nice warm bran mash on a cold winter's day. He is always extremely happy when Susan and Dallas return from a trail ride and greets them with a whinny as they come up the driveway. Greenie's owners are very happy to have Greenie in his golden years and they hope he lives many more years.
