Tractor

Tractor's Story - He was purchased by owners who had a little boy. When they asked their son what he wanted to call his pony, he said "Tractor". Of course, the little boy really meant his desire for the mechanical kind!

"Tractor is a well known lesson pony at Darden Equine in Simcoe County near Coldwater. Whenever we mention to another horse person that Tractor is at our barn, they always seem to know him because they took lessons on him in their past or have heard about Tractor and his eventing background.

His owner, Tina Tanzi, purchased Tractor for her baby daughter's future riding career. Since he needed a good home in the meantime, our stable, Darden Equine, was chosen as a safe and loving place for him to live. We keep him healthy with a few lessons a week and lots of TLC. Tractor is the ideal lesson pony because he is quiet enough to take care of young novice riders, yet smart enough to realize when a rider is more experienced and needs some challenge. We love taking care of Tractor!"
