RCR Fadji

RCR Fadji - aka Fidget, or Rocket, is an 11 year old purebred Arabian of Polish and Crabbet descent. Fadji is owned by Carol McIsaac of Rocking Chair Ranch, near Orillia in Ontario, Canada. We recently featured her other Arabian, Sonny, as our Horse of the Week. I am always amazed at how versitile Carol's horses are - Fidget goes from trail, to show to Therapeutic riding with ease.

Carol says this of her horse:

"Fidget's sire is Fadjess and his dam is Traverston Kaprice. He shares his paddock with a herd where he attempts to lord it over the other horses, but the Paso Fino is truly the boss.

One of Fadji’s loves of life is to run in the games classes at local horse shows with his favourite “blonde” rider. Shannon part boards him and loves him to death. Fidget partnered with her in 2006 to win the North River Riders High Point Novice Games.

I also “torture” him into riding in some other slow classes - which he tolerates but sometimes turns into a race. Like all the Rocking Chair Ranch horses, Fadji loves to trail ride and has been featured at trail demonstrations on trail etiquette. Never one to not enjoy a camera moment, he will give you his best side whenever he can.

Lately, Fadji has been added to the Therapeutic Riding sessions at Stonegate Farm, and is enjoying his time with the children and adults there. He can be ridden English and Western as well as bareback.

Fadji loves to give kisses and hugs and many faces sport the smudge marks from his affection. He will do anything for a peppermint!"
