Choice

Choice is a wonderful mare that is owned by Tina Horne of Maple Wind Farms in Hawkstone, Ontario.

Tina says this of her horse:

"Choice is a 26 year old, 14.1 hh grade mare who is as active and healthy as a 4 year old horse! She is simply amazing and has taught many children to ride in the 3 years that she has been at our farm. She is our best working cow horse and runs western gaming at fairs. Choice is a wonderful, trustworthy mount on trail rides and is just a great best friend. We can always count on Choice to lead the way.

Choice's oldest passenger was a first time rider who is 77 years of age! Choice took her on a nice trail ride and it was truly wonderful. So you see, you can never be too old for a first time experience! Choice is a treasure to have in our herd and will live out the rest of her days at our farm. We consider ourselves very lucky to get to be her 'humans'!"

Choice's barn mate, Razz, was featured as a past Horse of the Week.
