La Diosa de Middlefield

DIosa is a 5 year old, bright bay, Paso Fino mare. She has impeccable bloodlines: Premier de Chapiro X Afrodita FF (Profeta de Besilu X Zafira, a great Retorno mare). Both her parents are National Champion Performance horses and Diosa was the 2006 National Champion Honorable Mention Yearling Filly as well as the 2006 Breeders Sweepstakes filly.

Diosa lives at Tailwind Farm in the Niagara area with Claire Christo, Lula (past Horse of the Week), Tory and assorted other four leggeds. As you can see, she is a very compact mare with a big front and rear end. She has been under saddle for a couple of years and loves to go out on the trail or work in the ring. She is a willing, kind, solid mare with a great sense of humor.

Claire brought her up from Maryland with hopes that she was in foal. It was not to be, but with those bloodlines, it's still a possibility. With one too many horses in her barn, Claire said recently that she would part with Diosa to a good home where all her attributes (perhaps motherhood?) would be appreciated. She is currently offered for sale for $6,000.00 and can be seen on the Fina Vista Farm and Forest Gait Farm consignment pages.
